A deep sandy paractice and race facility rideable in all weather.

The surface is course sand which is quite deep in some sections and can get pretty rough, great for that european experience without leaving the UK.

There are 3 tracks, 1 small adult beginners circuit, 1 circuit for auto quads and auto schoolpersons, then the main circuit, of 1570m that has loads of climbs and decents, lots of uphill and downhill jumps as well as various tabletops, wave sections etc, track is mainly hardpack with some looser sandy sections, track is graded every week, usually twice a week.
 
Track is free for any club member to use, non club members can use the circuit by paying a £15 day membership which has to be paid before using the circuit, contact dodefraser@hotmail.com for further details.
 
The only time the track is closed is for 1 week before each Race Event, this is to allow for extra grading plus modifications to be done and to allow time for the track to settle.

The track is a sand based motocross track with ski jumps, table-tops, drop offs and deep sandy bermed corners. The track is fully marshaled and trained first-aiders are always present on site. At its shortest length it is 1.1 miles long and in the summer months a rear extension is added which extends the track length to 1.5 miles.

Tracks are always graded prior to commencement of practice. Refreshments and toilet facilities are available on site.

The site is fully insured and endorsed by the sport’s governing body the Auto Cycle Union.

The practice sessions are split into 20minute sessions of usually 3 groups. The groups are split into riders of similar ability EG: Experienced, Intermediate and Junior.

Equipment Required:

Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Motocross Pants and Jersey, Body Armor.

PDMX also requires your bike to be fit for purpose.

Wildmoor practice track is based in a working sand-quarry so the track and condition can change on a semi-regular basis. MX Shop on site for any spares needed on the day or even a new bike and toilet. Mobile cafe serves hot drinks and food.

1200m track including tabletops, step-ups, drop offs, whoops and a hill, to challenge the most expert motocross riders, while being safe enough for improvers.

The whole circuit is roped and staked with tyres on posts. Chestnut paling fence encloses many areas for increased safety.

Track is constantly graded and refined to be safer and yet more challenging.

The track is fully graded each week which probably makes one of the premier tracks in the south west during the winter months. The soil is very rich with very little stone and it is a natural terrain with whoops, table tops, ski jumps etc.

The track is built on two banks it is flowing and wide with uphill ski jumps, table tops, drop offs the soil is a mix of soil and stone and will drain well.

Hilly circuit is sandy with a mixture of tabletops and speed jumps that have been built with imported dirt to help maintain a firm take off. The whoop section has been built in the same way. Used regularly by top GP teams for testing. 

There are catering facilities and toilets on site as well as first aid should the need arise, and the venue is available for hire.

Elsworth is a fast hard pack track, its very jump orientated with every type of jump, a little difficult for beginners.

Moto Land UK  is a man made black sand circuit, with jumps, step-up, tunnel and banked turns. Used for race meetings as well as practice sessions, the circuit is maintained on a regular basis.

The circuit was designed by British GP star Carl Nunn and his father Stuart, who is also the track coach.

There is a permanent cafe area on the premises overlooking the track, a purpose built power wash area and First Aiders are on hand if needed

Price is £25 for 100cc and above and £23 below 100cc. Also included is third party insurance.

Tony Moto MX is on a 40 acre plot in Hampshire, they have three purpose built tracks to suit novice to expert riders.

Other features include a trials arena, hard standing pit area, excellent viewing, track shop, fast food shop and toilets.

Track time starts:

10:00 am – 4:00 pm Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
10:00 am – 7:00 pm Wednesday April-September only.

They run three groups max to give as much track time as possible.

Camping is allowed the night before.

Youthg group £25.00

Track hire is available all year round on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Chippenham motocross track is a sand based which changes regularly. There are three tracks in the wildtracks complex autos, beginners and the main track.

There is a qualified first aid personnel on site, marshalls on track and a lighting system around the track to enhance safety.

There is also a catering hut and built in toilets.

Essex MX has two tracks both are wood chippings. The main track is very bumpy and will test your fitness, there is a mixture of jumps and the track changes regularly.

There are toilet facilities, a burger van and normally a spares van.

Golding Barn Raceway

A clay based track set in the south downs valley.

facilities include toilets and a burger van.

Cost to ride the main track is £25 on wednesdays £30 on sundays.

There is also a beginners track.

Golding Barn is run by ex professional motocross riders, the circuit can also be hired out.

Golding Barn also hosts the Yamaha Off Road Experience twice a month.

Cusses Gorse has Three tracks, a junior with three small jumps, a motocross and a supercross track both with a mixture of jumps.

Supercross track is only available with the option of training and practicing combined.

Main track is over a mile long with a selection of jumps including table tops, doubles, step downs and a whoops section. The track surface is wood chippings and they also provide a loyalty card scheme, 10 stamps entitles you to a free ride.

There is also a junior track for bikes and quads up to 85cc with an age limit of 17.

There is a medic track side, catering van, toilets and normally a spares van.

Cost is £20 up to 100cc and £25 for 125cc and above on the main track or £10 for a shared rider.
